Juggling work and school is a tough job no matter how old you are. This can cause unwanted stress and delays in your accomplishments. I myself have been struggling with this, but I have found a few simple ways to make this dilemma easier for students.
In my opinion, when it comes to studying and work, school is always first. This establishes the education needed for a bright future. Speaking to your boss regarding cutting back hours is crucial. I understand money is needed for studying, but if you spend all of your time working you will be unable to put forth the necessary effort to do well on your exams. Secondly, creating a daily schedule in the morning really helps. Displaying the projects that need to be complete, as well as time frames, can save you the rushing around. Lastly, make sure you cook breakfast and make your coffee at home. You never know how much time waiting in a drive-thru line at seven a.m. will take you, and you do not want to be late to class.
Since I am only in the second week of juggling work and school, this is all the advice I can give thus far. I will be sure to continue and share with you all my thoughts and processes.
